We (Alan and Marg) are Q Music Dances.
In 2016 when opportunity knocked, we decided to start a Friday Night Social Dance.
Our goal was to host twice a month in a common location and we settled on Conestoga Place in Kitchener.
We wanted our dance to be a truly social event open to all adults including Singles, Couples and Groups.........
We have several Meetup groups attend regularly.
Our dance reflects our preference for newer music, so (DJ) Marg plays only the best danceable and popular music including some Latin and Country.
We wanted to pass along Alan’s dance skills by offering an absolute beginner dance lesson with an emphasis on learning just a few basics and above all.............. have fun learning.
Once we get the dance started at 8pm we don’t stop until our last song is played at midnight.
Our name Q Music is a play on words.
In the music industry, to "Cue or Queue Music" is to prepare, get ready or start to play the music.
Here at Q Music we provide a number of music related services (sound equipment, front of house sound mixing and lighting control, MC & DJ services etc.) including hosting social dances. Hence "Q Music Dances".
